At The Club

The Barbados Cruising Club is more than just a sailing club! Whilst many of our activities are geared to getting you on the water, there's plenty for the non sailors too.

Our recently refurbished club house is home to Dippers Beach Bar 3930 and Restaurant, who host a regular programme of social events off the water including the weekly Wednesday quiz and Salsa Caribe Friday salsa parties. With uninterrupted views over historic Carlisle Bay, there's no better place to relax, unwind and spend the evening, whether your day has been spent in the office, lazing on the sands or sailing along the Barbados coast.

Dippers offer a great value menu, full bar and daily cocktail specials. There's complimentary WiFi internet for those of you that just can't quite manage to put down your iphone or laptop.

As well as owning 4 sailing dinghies, the Cruising Club also owns 3 kayaks (2 single and 2 double), available for members use. There are beach bathrooms, showers, lockers and loungers. Just what you need for a swim after work, or a day on the beach.

3315The Cruising Club is also home from home for the St. Gabriel's Sea Scouts. They join us once a month, there's a little shore based learning followed by an afternoon of sailing. Great fun for all who get involved, be they Sea Scouts, or those of us a little more grown up!

The Cruising Club is also host to the LRN2Sail After School Sailing Club. Parents can relax in the bar, while watching the activity out on the water, without getting wet!

Whether you want to swim, sail, kayak, dance... or just simply relax, there's something for everyone at the Barbados Cruising Club.

The Barbados Cruising Club is a family friendly, totally inclusive sailing club located right on the beach at the south end of Carlisle Bay, on Barbados' south coast.  The core aim of our club is to make marine activities available to everyone on the island.  Primarily sailing, but our stunning beach front location, in sheltered Carlisle Bay is perfect for swimmers, snorkellers, kayakers or for those who just want a lazy day on the golden sands.

Our club is home to Dippers Beach Bar and Restaurant. With uninterrupted views of historic Carlisle Bay from the bar and first floor outdoor terrace, there's no better place to relax and watch the evening sunset. If you don't want to get your feet wet, there's a great regular social programme at Dippers.
