Come and join Ryan, Natasha and the crew at “Dippers”, our fabulous beach front bar and unwind in comfort with the waves gently lapping the shore at your feet. Relax either from a lounger on the beach or the upstairs gallery while sipping your cocktail, bottle of Banks or if you prefer a measure of Barbados' finest Rum! Named after “The Dipper”, The Right Excellent Errol Walton Barrow, who was known to spend many an afternoon looking over the bay from the terrace, it’s the ideal place to hang out and watch the action on the beach and the fantastic sunsets.

We're currently open from 4pm until 11pm Wednesday and Thursday, and from 12 noon on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Food is available every day that “Dippers” is open, just what you need after a long day on the water, in the sea or just cooling out on the beach. The menu constantly evolves, and there's plenty of choice for vegetarians too.

Wednesday is quiz night at the club. Great prizes and a lot of fun. Alternate Friday's we host the Salsa Caribe Friday Salsa Party. We often have special events planned, so keep an eye on our twitter and facebook pages for up to date news. Spent too much time chilling or been at sea for a number of days and need to catch up with what's happening in the real world? WiFi access is free to use within the bar and upstairs terrace.

With our perfect location and stunning sunsets, the fabulous bar refurbishment, frequent events and their friendly helpful staff there's no better place on the South Coast to spend the evening..... exaggerated stories of adventure on the high seas are encouraged but are not mandatory! The bar is a member’s bar. Guests are welcome, but must be signed in the visitors book. Please note we do not accept credit card payments.

The Barbados Cruising Club is a family friendly, totally inclusive sailing club located right on the beach at the south end of Carlisle Bay, on Barbados' south coast. The core aim of our club is to make marine activities available to everyone on the island. Primarily sailing, but our stunning beach front location, in sheltered Carlisle Bay is perfect for swimmers, snorkellers, kayakers or for those who just want a lazy day on the golden sands.

Our club is home to Dippers Beach Bar and Restaurant. With uninterrupted views of historic Carlisle Bay from the bar and first floor outdoor terrace, there's no better place to relax and watch the evening sunset. If you don't want to get your feet wet, there's a great regular social programme at Dippers.

The Barbados Cruising Club deliberately keeps its membership fees as low as possible, to encourage as many as we can to join the fun and get onto the water. Members are entitled to use the full range of facilities at the Club, and receive a 15% discount on food and beverage purchases at the bar, and at a number of businesses around Barbados.

The Barbados Cruising Club is easy to find, located just outside Bridgetown in Aquatic Gap. Our beach is locally known as Pebbles Beach. We're just next door to the Grand Barbados (soon to be Holiday Inn) Hotel and a minute from the Hilton Hotel at Needhams Point.
