Membership Rates

We deliberately keep our membership rates as low as possible. We want to encourage people to join the club and get involved. Our current schedule is shown below.

Annual Membership - Single: $400
Annual Membership - Family: $450
Annual Membership - Overseas Single: $150
Annual Membership - Overseas Family: $200
Annual Membership - Student: $100
Boards/Kayaks:$100 per year (or part thereof)
Dinghys/Boats: As stated in the BCC boat policy

Notes:

Boat and trailer storage is subject to space availability. Please discuss your requirements with our Commodore or Captain in advance.
Family membership includes your partner or spouse, and any dependent children under the age of 18. Children over the age of 18 are not included within family membership

Student membership requires proof of full time continuing education, if the applicant is over the age of 18.

The Membership Year

The Barbados Cruising Club operates a membership year that runs November 1st to October 31st each year. All memberships are subject to renewal on November 1st. For any new members joining during the course of the year we of course discount the renewal fee, to take into account the months that have been paid for, but remaining "unused" during the annual membership. The Barbados Cruising Club is a family friendly, totally inclusive sailing club located right on the beach at the south end of Carlisle Bay, on Barbados' south coast. The core aim of our club is to make marine activities available to everyone on the island. Primarily sailing, but our stunning beach front location, in sheltered Carlisle Bay is perfect for swimmers, snorkellers, kayakers or for those who just want a lazy day on the golden sands.

Our club is home to Dippers Beach Bar and Restaurant. With uninterrupted views of historic Carlisle Bay from the bar and first floor outdoor terrace, there's no better place to relax and watch the evening sunset. If you don't want to get your feet wet, there's a great regular social programme at Dippers.

The Barbados Cruising Club deliberately keeps its membership fees as low as possible, to encourage as many as we can to join the fun and get onto the water. Members are entitled to use the full range of facilities at the Club, and receive a 15% discount on food and beverage purchases at the bar, and at a number of businesses around Barbados.

We are always happy to hear from you. If you've got questions, stop by the Club. The staff of Dipper's Beach Bar are always happy to assist or it's ikely that one of our Committee members will be propping up the bar.

The Barbados Cruising Club is easy to find, located just outside Bridgetown in Aquatic Gap. Our beach is locally known as Pebbles Beach. We're just next door to the Grand Barbados (soon to be Holiday Inn) Hotel and a minute from the Hilton Hotel at Needhams Point.
