The Barbados Cruising Club Welcomes Visiting Yachts
There's always a warm welcome at the Cruising Club for any visiting yachtsmen and Atlantic rowers. As Barbados is the most easterly Caribbean island, it's often the first port of call. Come ashore, have a shower, prop up the bar, contact friends and family back home via the WiFi, and fill the club with over exaggerated tales of adventure on the high seas.

Dieter Maier sailed solo across the Atlantic and stopped by the club in March 2010. You can follow his sailing adventures here.

December 2009 saw more than 20 visiting yachts at anchor in the bay. With Christmas around the corner, we put on our santa hats and invited them all for a BBQ at the club. We had a great evening, and so it's become an annual event. Just watch The Barnacle newsletter for our December "Message In A Bottle" Party.

Marno and Shelley sailing Attitudes from Australia stopped by in November 2009. We decided more sailing was in order, and they accompanied us on one of our weekend coastal cruises to the west coast.

It's time for this year's arrivals. Will we be adding your yacht?

Dippers Bar and Restaurant, a great place to relax.
